Regarding the egg-shaped thing I'm not sure I quite understand what concept is being explained there as I haven't come across that before, have you a youtube link of him explaining that?

At end of the day even if some of his analogies may be stupid to you or anyone, my initial paragraph of this post still stands.

Here he is again with his ridiculous embarrassing analogies.

He was asked why Muslims are allowed to build mosques in non-Muslim countries, but non-Muslims aren’t allowed to build churches/temples in Muslim countries like Saudi.

Zakir the plonker Naik brought in an “example” about three teachers, one which says that 2+2=3, the other says 2+2=4, and the other says 2+2=6… and he used that to prove his point.

You gotta see it to believe it. It’s enough to make your eyes water. Even the presenter (Shahid Masood) seemed bemused.

I've seen an English video of him saying this too but I can't find that one, so you gotta make do with the Urdu.

CrazYt™, if you LEFT your car in the car park and popped into Tesco to buy a pint of milk, then would you not care about your car? What if a burglar is trying to break into it?

Here’s another one:

If you just LEFT school to go college, and you found out that one of your previous teachers is now teaching kids that 2+2=5, then would you not care? Or would you write to the school and report him to the headmaster?

So there you go CrazYt™, that’s the reason why I care so much.

I felt quite stupid writing that, but ah well.

Seems like your analogies in explaining to me why you care so much have failed. Shall I show you how... Well lets see...

In the first scenario you leave your car assuming you would come back to it after you have done your shopping, not leave it and never return to as in your case where you have left Islam assuming you won't return to it so your analogy number 1=fail.

In the second scenario if a teacher was teaching 2+2=5 then I would care, but in your case you haven't proven where Dr. Naik is teaching 2+2=5 "so to speak" so analogy number 2= fail.

So there you go zanjeer. You may feel even more stupid now for writing that.

Bloody hell CrazYt™ I can't believe you actually took the time to refute my stupid analogies. They were supposed to be stupid. That was the whole point. I even said that they'd be stupid before I wrote them. It was tongue in cheek. I was taking the piss (of Zakir Naik).

You tried to defend Zakir Naiks car/cycle/truck analogy by saying that the link would be incompatiblity.

I could easily defend my first analogy by saying the link is leaving doesn't equal not caring.

Still, it's nice to see that your brain is able to function when the stupid analogy is said by zanjeer, but not when it's said by Mr Naik.

As for Zakir Naik teaching that 2+2=5 (so to speak), I can give many many examples.

As I mentioned previously, he says that verse 79:30 of the Quran tells us that the earth is "egg-shaped", and according to him this is the exact shape of the earth. He is wrong on both accounts.

Is the earth "egg-shaped"? Does verse 79:30 even say that the earth is egg-shaped?

Read as many translations of verse 79:30 as you can, in as many languages as you can, and consult your arabic speaking friends too if you want. You will find what he is shamelessly lying in his attempt to find "miracles" in the Quran.

He says it between 4:28-5:40mins in this video...

We've establised that point Kanzeer, so what now? What is right? Islam is all them things, what are you comparing it to? Whats the way forward?

Nah that we can more or less figure out, but the real trillion dollar question is WHY zanjeer has left Islam? Which he still hasn't told us...

I mean if your gonna refute something at least tell us the why you left, that way you may have some foundation for all your arguments against Islam.

Exactly my point too. Again this ties in with what I said above, its all well and good refuting and debating against Islam but as scrooge has said present us with an alternate solution that is better and that works for everyone unless you do that one can assume that youare only here to slate muslims and the religion of Islam..?
