The Blind Side is a must watch feel good film, which Sandra Bullock won an Oscar for. It's based on a true story and most of the facts are real and makes you sit back and think wow, this family changed a kids life.

who is now an American Football player. A white family take on this African-American kid because he was homeless and went to the same school as their kids, but then realising his life story and the fact he had nowhere to go and seemed like he would end up with no future they decided to adopt him and help him, he only got into the school because a guy who was looking after him asked for a favour. It's amazing how he went from someone with no hope and no future (had really bad grades) to being a multi-millionaire top rated football player. The family did a great thing and Michael showed with the right attitude and application you can achieve beyond what you expected.
Because it's a true story (most of the facts can be found on Michael's wiki) I upgraded it from a 7 to a 9, it's definitely an eye opener type of film, some people might even feel a bit sad
The story unfolds well, and by the end you want it to continue.
