How so i shrink my jacket?

So i bought an old denim vintage jacket , I had to have it .
But is like 3 sizes to big!
I do want it over sized but it needs to be a load smaller. Its just huge at the mo.
Any ideas how to shrink it?

My sister said to pop it in the wash and dryer for a while but i dont want to fuck it up.
What temp and stuff do i need it at?
Any other ideas?

It's fine to wash denim in the washing machine - you're supposed to turn jeans inside out when you wash them, I'm sure you can do the same with your jacket.

If you don't want to wash it just dunk it in some hot water - shrinking process happens in the dryer. I've shrunk plenty of shirts/sweaters, heh =$

Although, you may need to repeat the process a couple of times cos you need it to go down a few sizes. Dry the hell out of it in the dryer - so its hot to the touch when you go to take it out, should shrink it

Other idea would be to take it to the tailors n have them take it in a size or two... might cost you a bit though!
