Im a care worker which is similar to a social worker except i belive a social worker is more like helping a patient/resident more personaly with things like housing, family issues, personal problems etc..
Let me know if you want any heads up though.

Im a care worker too (in old peoples home)

Social care is pretty much summed up by what Diva said about helping with personal issues ect and interacting with different sorts/types people. You need skills to do that.

I did once think about becoming a social worker......

Ay Im not taking the piss or anything coz I have seen people in a care hospice that helped out my mum when she needed to go. Just gotta put ya mind to it I guess.
