The gameplay is slowed down, the 'auto aim assist' which MW2 is famous for, is all but removed. Your gun now doesn't 'auto follow' your enemy LOL, this is good, but takes you a bit of time to get used to. Noob tubes are nerfed, they don't do much damage unless you pop it right at your enemy's feet or a direct hit... LOL I think this is the best thing about the game. Shotguns are now primary weapons, secondaries are really underpowered. Your pistol barely gets a kill before you run out of ammo.
The level design makes camping very difficult, and some are very good. They're built up quite high, but some are reallly really boated and complicated. You wonder around often not seeing an enemy for 30 odd seconds lol, then you see 5 off them camping it out in one corner of the map, attempting to lock it down.
Following the objective in objective games, gains more XP - this is good. If you diffuse a bomb, you should be rewarded for it - unlike MW2. In some cases it can be upto 5x what MW2 rewarded you. There are now 15 prestiges and 50 levels per prestige. It takes far less time to rank up. The menu system is complicated, but when you get used to it, it has a lot of nifty things it can do. Like view the last game gameplay of anyone etc.
On the PS there are severe frame rate issues. It's really quite bad, the game staggers when shots of large map, action, smoke fill an area. Then out of nowhere you'll get knifed. Which pisses you off a bit. The graphics are not as good as MW2, but that's not a problem. The sound though, is. The sound of popping a gun was more satisfying in MW2, like a Famas or a F2000 they sounded sexy. All the guns now sound like hitting a metal Parker pen on a frying pan. But small gripe.
It does however look like Prestiging will be a bitch. I don't want to use the early weapons against people with Tiger Camo'd AK47s. You just get blown away. I probably wont Prestige. Its a good game. More balanced, rewards good players. But the franchise is getting a bit boring for me.. I wanna see some aliens now LOL.

Ah thanks for the detailed post EG. Duno if PS users get updates for PS games? I doubt it, if something isn't right in a PC game it gets patched up, not making it 100% better when it was first released but show improvements etc. Just waiting to see PC reviews for this game.
explosive crossbow had me impressed.
Love the equipments like motion sensor and spike cam, gives the edge.

Yeh cross bow is fantasic. If you want to die 30 times before you hit one.
In fact if you pop someone with it, in the time it takes to detonate, they have time to kill you so you can watch the kill cam while your explosive arrow kills them.

I can't wait to be back on the scene in January 2011! Maybe not with Black Ops, but other stuff. However a lil-bird told me that Black Ops is regularly played. I'm just waiting for the steam sales now. :3
Dude fuck Black Ops. Bad Company 2 is still regularly played, and as for me, I still keep the fire burning for Battlefield 2 lol. Im just playing SP of the game until I get some money sorted.

on the main menu where it says campaign, multiplayer etc, look down on your hands and press r2 and l2 together (ps3), he will move his hands until the restraints break open, now you can move around the room freely.
there is a computer behind you which you can access, type in 'doa' and press enter.

I blew up 3 bastards with the RC car LMAO. But the host backed out then when I rejoined I was on the opposite team and I couldn't shoot anyone. Then ontoppa that, when I went to the theater to masturbate over the triple kill, the fucken video was cut and started from when I rejoined on the opposite team!
