Third division Koblenz completed a major upset in the German Cup with a 2-1 win against Hertha Berlin.
But more remarkable than the result was the opening goal from Michael Stahl, who smashed the ball in from inside his own half.
The midfielder seized on a loose ball and, possibly spotting goalkeeper Marco Sejna off his line, let fly with a one-in-a-lifetime shot.
The German TV commentator immediately estimated the distance of the shot at 61 metres (67 yards), although a later calculation put it at 'only' 57 metres (62 yards).
It was Stahl's first goal of the season.
