Tancredo Neves (President of Brazil ):

During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500,000 votes from his party, not even God would remove him from Presidency.

Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made President, then he died.

Cazuza (Bio-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet):

During A show in Canecio ( Rio de Janeiro ),

while smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said:'God, that's for you.'


He died at the age of 32 of LUNG CANCER in a horrible manner.

The man who built the Titanic

After the construction of Titanic, a reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be.

With an ironic tone he said:

'Not even God can sink it'

The result:I think you all know what happened to the Titanic

Bon Scott (Singer)

The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC.

On one of his 1979 songs he sang:

'Don't stop me; I'm going down all the way, down the highway to hell'.

On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, he had been choked by his own vomit.

Since your so defensive over god please tell me why god didn't intervene in the Japanese Earthquake? 'God' being the all powerful all knowing omniscient and omnipotent force already knew shit was gonna pop off in Japan, yet he still didn't intercede ? u know how it is... god takes all the credit and plaudits when sumink good happens... it's " thanks to god"... when sumink bad happens it's can be anybody's else's fault but gods. It's down to 'bad luck' or ' errmm is just wasn't meant to happen'

but hey we are 'mere humans'... gods work in mysterious ways that we are unable to comprehend or understand....

I would consider that but God has never spoken to people openly in broad daylight and/or in public spectrum and I don't think he will go against the own precedent he has set for himself for a nobody like me. Back in the day he used find a shepherd or a carpenter when they were alone, when nobody else was around and tell them to pass on his message(maybe god doesn't like big crowds ?). Well apparently not everybody was listening to his messengers and was arguing about the semantics so he got pissed off and decided he'd stop passing on his message about 1400 years ago and is now on an extended hiatus where he can't be asked communicating with the human race again.

Besides I will not even attempt to liaise with god, what will I do if he decides to come out of his 1400 years hiatus and start communicating with humans again ? once I start telling people the main man upstairs spoke to me I would instantly be diagnosed as a Schizophrenic by some Psychiatrist. However if I talk to god, without him replying back to me it's a perfectly socially acceptable norm and it even has a title given to it called 'praying'. Not that I do that anyway. God already has enough people pestering & badgering him with personal requests.

There is nothing to counter what Tariq asked or said is correct, because his responses, questions are typical of a non-believer, its a an open book question/response all non-believers ask. I've heard it many times before, i've have had people ask me the same question when i was in college many times too.

^^ erm when have I ever claimed non belief ? If I claimed certainty for what I can't prove or have no evidence of then that would make as arrogant and smug as Atheists or a Theist like yourself. There could very possibly be a Deity/Creator, but it certainly ain't the Genocide General of the the Old Testament or the one that mandates wife beating in the Quran.
