What I found amusing is that first the chump goes "I'm not from Pakistan, ethnically me and my parents are from Bangladesh... How can they get my ethnicity mixed up"... Then says "I can't ever use the word Paki offensively, because I personify what that word means". So maybe those "white strangers" that this idiot refers to by their skin colour - the same thing he's supposedly protesting against - didn't infact either get his ethnicity wrong or 'hate his brown colour' but called him a Paki because he would himself describe himself as a Paki because of his 'personification of the word'. Similar to how a someone can be described as 'slithery' by personifying the word.

The amount of times I've heard Pakistanis, Indians and Bangladeshis call Black people 'Kaloo' or the like, is the same thing as white people calling South Asians Paki. Since when they do that - they don't care whether that 'kaloo' is from Nigeria, Ghana, Trinidad or Jamaica - it's just a Kaloo. That's also borne from a kind of racist past. It may not be a violent and slave past, but it's a past. Before anyone says there's a correlation between Paki and slave, when India was colonised, there was no Pakistan.

If people are happy calling each other 'Paki' and not find it offensive amongst themselves, then you cannot be offended if someone else calls you a Paki too. Because THAT IS INCREDIBLY DILLUSIONAL. Same thing with Black people and the word Nigger. The word Nigger has a longer history of racism than the word Paki. To give the word Paki the same excuses of use as the word Nigger is stupid and ignorant. If you are truly proud of your ethnicity, you wouldn't call yourselves derogatory racist names which real stupid and ignorant people have given you - here you 'CAN OFFEND YOURSELF'. Read up on Malcolm X and other Black rights activists. There is no excuse for that. If you don't shake off those labels yourselves, no one will. So this guy actually does "personify what that word means" since the word means "I'm a ignorant and stupid dick". If he can recall all the injustices and acts of persecutions associated with the word Paki that makes him so emotionally distressed, why does he feel none when using it to describe himself and his brown chums. I'm sure if he read about the racial fighting in India that caused it to split into his Bangladesh and Pakistan he would shock himself into an early grave. Asian people are racist against themselves - why would the whites do different?

The word Brit as this guy claimed - has no history of racism... Ok, if we take that view, then why he goes on to make excuses for his own use of the word Paki by comparing it to the use of the word "Fat" by fat people to describe other fat people. Erm, does the word Fat have a history of racism? With the same logic, being a slim guy, he should also feel a deep sense of regret when using the word Fat, since akin to white people using the word Paki, so too the word fat used by a person slim. Since the "white people, can use the word Paki in a derogatory way, I'm not saying you will, and I'm not saying if you do say that word you mean it maliciously, but the fact that you can makes the situation all the more different". So, since YOU can use the word fat in a malicious way - that word should automatically become forbidden to you. Excellent logic.

I do like the way the Bukake camera angle films this weasel from top down with his arms flailing in the air. It's kind of the a puppet would wave it's hands around during a puppet show... Funny that comparison and pretty meaningful.

Ultimately the word Paki actually means 'pure'.

(Damn that was a long post. I must be on holiday).

I agree with most of what you said EG but I don't agree with the second paragraph. Saying the word "Kaloo" is not the same as saying "Nigger". "Kaloo" is a colour so then it wouldn't matter where the person is from, it's just the same as calling them a Black person. "Nigger" is the word that has the racist past.

I don't agree that Pakistani's call each other "Paki's", even when I hear them say it I feel uncomfortable even though I'm not a Pakistani. I think they try to copy the Black people who call themselves "Niggers" but if anyone else calls them those names then all hell breaks loose!

Bavvy "Kala" or "Sambla" is black or dark skinned. Kaloo is a twist on Kala, it isn't a word at all. Like saying Black or Blackie - or saying White and Whitie. When spun and used in context - in my opinion it's racist.

I'd personally be offended if someone calls me a 'Paki', whether that person is a Pakistani himself or not. If I find a word 'offensive', it doesn't make it any less offensive if you're from the same ethnicity.
