The Asian Place Radio

Ok after some extensive talks with various people, we have decided to give the asian place radio a challenge within itself, whether it will be successful or not.

As you all may be aware that Kayz does the radio shows now and then from his own home computer. He has told me that it is quite successful/popular at peak times amongst the members and other non forum members, like friends and family. At the same time it is quite strenuous for Kayz, hence he does not do the shows every night.

We will be trialling the asian place radio, and yes this time there will be different presenters as well! so you don’t always listen to boring old Kayz all the time! The sound will be like any other online radio station but not perfect, but a lot better than the quality you get from Kayz and much clearer.

We shall also try and organise the show and have a manuscript at hand to follow, with music, entertainment and of course talk.

This will also be like a wider project for us; the asian place will get slots on the radio. If demand does dry out (I doubt it will) then the asian place radio will have its slots reduced.

This will be a 24/7 radio station broadcasting live! It will be costing us a lot of money with monthly payments/instalments; any kind of donations will be welcomed. Please follow the donation link at the main footer of the main forum page. Please note, by donating does not entitle you to anything, but we will greatly appreciate your efforts and support.

If you cannot donate then you can do the ultimate favour for us, it is even better than donating money. It’s so simple and you get told this everyday in your user cp! If you could kindly tell all your friends and family about the asian place, I don’t mean just tell them to join, we hate people who join and make a one post and run away. We need and want people who join and use the forum like you are doing today. That is all we ask for in return.

Like I had said earlier, the talks have finished, all we need to do now is get started with installation and other various practical things. We shall launch the asian place radio within the next two weeks if everything goes well.

The Asian Place radio is still not 100% sure; don’t get your hopes up as anything can happen!

Yes i shall note this also, who knows we "may" pick a female presenter from this very forum, only time will tell, alot is involved when selecting someone to present a radio show on behalf of a forum like this and myself. Someone who is reliable, on time, and always uptodate and on schedule, and most importantly trust will come first when selecting that particular person.

But i think we shouldnt jump the gun yet, it will be a few weeks from now but i would like to see your suggestions, ideas and interests. Keep them coming!

Good thought, it isnt really about who pays to be a presenter thats just not right. The Asian Place presenters will be broadcasting for free

Its a matter of...

Someone who is reliable, on time, and always uptodate and on schedule, and most importantly trust will come first when selecting that particular person.

We need to still determine how complex it will be in running the show, Kayz will be first to start off along with a few friends maybe. If we feel it is not too complex then we will broaden our horizon in the London area, and later outside of London.
