who works and/or has worked in a call centre?

call centre was my very 1st job, worked there on a temp basis 4 6 months. 1st month was in training so luved it coz ntn 2 do, hated the rest of the months.....

pays good in a call centre but the work i belive is crap...answering one call after another, dealing wid problems after problems, aaagghh...hated it

theyv been calling me back every year at summer time 2 cum back and wrk, but i kept on rejecting them even when i was unemployed and looking 4 work....i think call centre is the last place id wana wrk again.....but recently i hate my job, so fort i might apply back at the call centre...unfortunately

well, enuf bout me borin job.....

wts ur opinion in regards 2 call centres? have u worked there? do u work there? would u work there? lol

call centres is reli good pay well from wot i seen in job agencies and newspapers! i wanted to work there but they havent got my hours but i wouldn't mind working there....sounds kinda fun xx

its fun on the weekend....hardly any supervisors....ppl mainly chilling out and calls are less......
yah, pays good, i use 2 wrk on saturdays as well as 3 days durin the week, i use 2 look forward 2 saturday...it use 2 be a laf, but still kinda hated it....lol

I worked at a call centre when I ws in my first year at Uni...it ws flexible hours, and money was okay but god was that the most crappiest job ever...had to ring ppl up, trying to get them to accept a free quote for a kitchen..!! OMG, I hated it....quit after 3 weeks

Well ive been working in various call centres! money is v good for those who can speak well..., hand on my heart yes its awesome u get to think on ur feet, tackle many problems coming at you! Its very good!!

I saw the job this way... I just sit on my arse and earn money, rather having to run around like some jobs etc... and there are many types of call centre jobs.. and out of those many call centre jobs i would only do one type! that is Market Research... not selling! I mean everyone does market research it helps people also! & Most importantly less abuse! lol people who sell get a grilling! but market researchers get very little of that!

I've worked in call center's for nearly 3 years now. Kayz is right, money is good but in certain jobs, only if you work for it. No disrespect to Kayz but I'd kind of get bored just doing market research everyday as its not as challenging as other jobs hence the reason as to why I want to leave my job. I'm currently looking for a job as a Recruitment Consultant.. but see what happens in the future..

nah neva worked in a call centre, works as a computer tech at the local BT call centre and helped set up the new call centre for the police station..
