i was nursed with great care unaware i presume,
that august 1st would b the day that id burst out her womb.
free as a child with a hidden purpose to live for,
free to love love and explore the many more
things life brings
angels with invisible wings
a mothers voice when she sings
exotic fishes that swim..
ambitious wishes that begin
from an innocent mind.
without her guidance
or alliance id b as good as blind.
i wouldnt b kind i would not be so pleasant
life's ladder wouldn't be climbed
left behind and lonely as peasants.
id be unsafe and unsure with this life.
just imagine had there been a motherless christ?
no mother teresa, no rosa parks, no marge simpson.
imagine there being no mother earth who keeps on spinnin.
you see there is absolutely no other
who resides in this world just like my mother,

im ashamed to say, that almost every day
i wake up with a void, so paranoid i begin to pray:
God, living through this despair which i cannot bare
i become aware as i stare reading history's wall,
that there was always misery & hatred close to us all
and for a long time they may seem invincible still
but they will always fall, my people that's for real.
i will always have felony causin enemies
i'll continue to face tyrants grippin on weaponry.
far from heavenly, these demons keep sendin me clues
receiving threats telling me i should prepare to lose.
forgive & never forget, id rather be a goner
out of breath, choosin death over dishonor.
