Golden Temple

This place is heaven on earth!

- the temple's architecture draws both on Hindu & Muslim artistic styles and represents a coevolution of the two

- it has marble sculptures...golden gilding...& large quantities of precious stones

- on a jewel studded platform lies the Adi Grantha the sacred scripture of the sikhs.

This temple is beautiful....any one been? discuss the golden temple in here....

There is just an amazing feeling you get when you go there early in the morning. I love it.

it had 4 doorways
north
south
east
west
representin ne1 and every1 is welcome

wasnt always like this
maharanja ranjit singh added the marble and the gold leaf

the amount of times that place has been attacked by the government... aint on
is a religious place, sanctuary
