"Hedgehogs. Why can't they just share the hedge?"
*LOL*
at the moment there's not too much difference - each has its own merits
also it depends what u actually put on the tv. if its just your standard stuff - it aint gonna make much of a difference
but if your playing blu-ray or doing some hardcore gamin then its worth goin into the detail

basically the ps3 disc is a blu-ray disc. its not a normal dvd disc. its better and needs a different player. it has better graphics and effects amongst other things
u shud play killzone 2 or street fighter 4 those look awesome on a big plasma screen

PS3 is just shit. I bought a special edition PS3 for £700 and now its just collecting dust. I only bought it to play one game, MGS4. Played it clocked it.
Xbox 360 FTW
This is my signature
the game selection on the ps3 is indeed poor - even killzone 2 as great as it looked was too too short.
aside from maybe 4-5 titles there's nothing exclusive about the ps3
its a shame xbox lost the war in the battle of HD but its their own fault for not bundling the drive WITH the console instead of buying it seperate

dvd's on my 360 look slightly better on our plasma rather than the lcd w/hdmi cables of course. The picture doesn't really show any signs of decreased quality around the area where multiple characters move around quickly on screen. Oh yeah and TV looks a bit clearer to (no hd programming though)

yeah normal tv doesnt improve by much which is one of the reasons people buy the new ones thinking its gonna look awesome - they dont realise they need some HD material for it
