Mmm... I like kheer. Find it a bit sickly after a few spoonfuls, but that doesn't stop me stuffing my face lol.

Prefer kheer from those muller rice puddings ya get.
I like the creamy/milky rice puddings.
To be honest, I prefer ambrosia, to some of the kheer I've tasted in the past.
A lot of people put "gur" (that brown sugary rock thing) in it, and it ends up looking like runny shit.
...and it tastes off.

Yeah sure.
1. Wash 1 cup of jasmine rice.
2. Fill a non stick saucepan with half a pot of water (or milk) depending on how you like your kheer.
3. When the water is boiling throw rice in, lower heat and cover.
4. Check rice every 10 minutes, adding more water if needed and stir.
5.When the rice is like a porridge or mushed up consistency (you can't really mess it up, the longer you cook the rice the better..so it can take 45+ on low heat) you add 1 tin of condensed milk and stir through.
6. Taste to see if you need to add more milk.
7. Pound 5 cardamons pods and a handful of almonds/pistachio nuts
8. If you need to add more sugar depending on how sweet you like your kheer then do so otherwise sprinkle the pounded nuts and cardamons on top of your kheer and turn the heat off.
9. Now eat and enjoy!
Peace, Love and Glee...
I'm sure one of my Iranian friends told me Kheer meant dick in Farsi, after I went.. 'Mmmm, I could so do with some kheer right now.' Anywho. I just had to share that. On with the kheer making...
