civilisation the original one

class game

brill game - i used to love kicking some ass on there and then having just one city left of the enemy and surrounding it - making sure they couldnt grow any more.

That game kept my older bro up for 12 hours lol. I remember putting all resources into technology at the beginning - and it was a race to get conscription & and the other one for "armours" to get modern army units lol.

Brill game i'd give it 10/10 aswell.

My old skool game would have to be Super Smash Tv on the Super Nintendo:

YouTube - Super Smash TV level 1

Street Fighter 2 Turbo & Zelda Linked to the past would follow a joint 2nd lol.

Civilisation was great! Those bloody barbarians...always having cavalry while I still had melee fighters LOL.

i used to hate it when the damned barbarians took some city that u thought as useless but then had to take it back just to show them who's boss whilst u were building up stocks of armies to take on the enemy

I think it was psychological man. You didnt even NEED the city but you still had to take it back cos you didn't want them to "think" that you would get taken over so easily. Yeh, like the A.I. of that time really thought that.

I used to enjoy builiding cities on the edges of land....and then join them up...so I had a whole island to myself. All fortified and shizzle.
