Name your favourite game of all time.
Only ONE. If you have more than one:- Don't answer. Name the platform you played it on too. And finally if you're blessed with the mental capacity, tell us why it's your fave game....

GTA Vice City (PS2) no doubt.
Loved everything about that game, the story was fantastic throughout, it incorporated some bits from some of my favorite movies as well like scarface, carlito's way and some others as well. It made you actually really wanna know what was gonna happen next in the storyline. The locations, the music, and the dialogue - so many memorable quotes! Also the characters themselves, especially the main character Tommy, all had a personality they weren't just generic grunts, you could just tell they really paid attention to detail. And I remember everyone in school used to talk about it during break times. Good times. I doubt I'll ever like another game as much as that. |

GTA San Andreas (PC/PS2 but more the PC) by miles.
Though I loved Vice City I thought they'd made SA so much bigger and better. I loved the whole gangsta thing at the start and the way they incorporated 3 cities into one, Los Santos(Los Angeles), San Fierro(San Francisco) and Las Venturas(Las Vegas), and gave them the look of the city. Storyline was also great, dialogue was hilarious! All the characters were etched out probably, they had their own way of doing things and saying things. Was a really great and thought out game. Need to complete it again.

Game: Super Smash TV
Platform: Super Nintendo Why: I'd always played games before where to get good at it you would have to practice 24/7. I.e. Street fighter - with timing/counters/combos. Smash TV was quite linear - top down shoot em up in an enclosed space. The enemies would come out at the same places all the time, if there was any variation it would be the bosses who had superior AI. It proved challenging, but overtime patterns/routes could be worked out to complete each "sheet" or level. It originated from Robotron - but even the boffs who played that gave it credit - It brang the old skool back, but in new flavours - which is what is lacking in todays gaming scene....with the exception of Street Fighter IV

Game: Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time
Platform: N64 This game for me represented a whooooooooole summer of my life... I played it twice. I actually felt like I was in love with Princess Zelda and I was goin to save her LOL... Sad but true.... I loved the themes of the temples, each was different to the last and based on the elements - Earth, Fire, Ice, water and then on the supernatural to like the Spirit temple not to mention the darn outright like the belly of the whale temple..... I loved the experience I got from this game, loved the music, loved the story. Has to be the best game I've ever played.

Geez... this is tricky...
But I guess it would have to be... Battletoads Snes version... (Gosh so tempted to list so many games... including the old Shinobi on the mega drive)

MarioWorld - Super Nitendo
It was just pure genius, still is. Classic game that nearly everyone's played & theirs no reason to knock it. Nice simple family entertainment.

Game: Grand Theft Auto (The first and original)
Platform: PC I just liked doing all the missions and stuff, going around beating up random people and I like the bird's eye view.
