.......Go to a shitty-er university rather than a more recognized/ redbrick university... if say you didn’t like where the university was situated, or the general feel, night life all that mumbo jumbo. I mean that’s where you will be spending at least 3 years. So how do you decide?

yeah i'd look at the uni first.. u can always find sumin 2 do when u wanna chill but the main thing is 2 get thru uni init lol.. wel i think it is plus if u chose nightlife etc over the actual uni.. u not as likely to put all ur effort in2 ya education.. am jus goin on with maself now aint i. i hope SOMEONE understands wat am tryna say

You see thats what I thought.

But one of my uni's I'm thinking about going to is Keele. And It's in the middle of no where. It's it's own village. With 200ac of land. For me thats scary. I get bored of scenery and crap. So I know I'll be bored with the surroundings. Plus all the land looks like a perfect setting for a horror flick. I dont wana die in keele.

I made my mind up by how good the department and uni is for my course... couldnt give 2 shits bout the nightlife... even though im going to big cities it should be wikid

See, not to bend over and lick my own ass; But I know I'm smart. And will do well, regardless of the University. So I'm not that bothered about the department and blah, like Sidra said, the people and shopping, Omg shopping.... I.e I have a unconditional offer from Keele, I like Keele, but it's in the middle of nowhere; Wah if I need retail therapy? I'd have to catch a bus to somewhere , to somewhere else, and blah. So long. Plus people tell me there’s cows and shit everywhere. (hold the Yorkshire jokes) I don't wana be trampled by a cow.

Before you jump into any uni.. Check that some colleges do the courses uni's do which then you can follow up on the next course to uni once you passed it.. that's if you're the college type..
