I got a 2.1!!!!!!!:)
i went into uni today to get my results and i was shittin it all day...
i seriously thort i was gna get a 2.2 cos i didnt work as hard as i shud hav, but yeah i opened the big white envelope and yeah it said 2.1!!!!!!! im the happiest woman alive!!! BooozeBooozeBooozeBooozeBoooze anyone else get their degree results????

errr? they havent given me details of my results but im guessin its liek a percentage of 64,65% i studied BSc (hons) in Business and Management

 im not thAT CLEVER, if i didnt eff up in the second year (personal reasons) then i wuda definalty had the chance to get a 1st!! but im happy..

My dude, I'm not sure of what the metric conversion is... But: The highest is a 1st then comes 2:1 then 2:2 and finally 3rd.. Below that you just get a Degree certification... And below that its trash... Basically she got a Second Class whether she got 'Honours' she hasnt sed... But if you get 'Honours' then you passed all the modules you sat first time with no repeats.. So it adds the icing on the cake.... You get two categories of Second Class, you wanna be in the first half of the Second Class classification and not the Second... Hence she's happy she got a 2:1 and not 2:1... It's quite a big difference.... Basically means she averaged greater than or on '-B' (+60% ) in all the modules that counted toward her degree classification (usually all from final year and a few from the other years)... Highly respectable, even though she claims she could have done better.... So it means she can get a good job now...

But, how did you graduate at 20?
Did you start uni at 17? How that work out?

my birthday is next month lol
and isnt a 2,1 and upper second class degree and nom i havent failed any of my modules, i got two thirds in my secodn yeah but even them were like 1 mark away from 2.2s but yeah..im happy..i really didnt expect this grade considerign the effort i put into it, heck one module 100%, really hard module i did the assignment(essay on market and social order) the day before the dealine cos i had issues...but yeah i thank only allah (swt) for lettin me get this 2.1 which i thort was impossible sorry i knw i sound liek a drama queen. i carried makeup removin wipes cos i knew i wud cry lol..

Yeh I know what you mean... Enjoy it.... No1 can ever take it away from you now.... Its the most valuable validation of your education you'll ever get... Even Masters and PhD's arn't as valued as Bachelor Degrees....
If you say you were less than 2:2 in 2nd year you musta got A's in final year to get it to 2:1... Whoa.... I remember when I got my results, first thing I did was look to the sky... I still remember it was a lovely summer's day man... Blue sky, and the sun was shining brighter for me than it was for others.... Like you, I was like, God knows how hard I worked for it and you know, God gives if you put the work in... I got my First and I still feel greatful till this day man.... A degree is a beautiful thing, I wish that success on everyone....
