If I'm feeling a bit uncomfortable, and he happens to be with me, he'll play with my hair and talk to me in hushed tones to stop me from shitting my guts out.

It's quite soppy, but it really makes my knees buckle sometimes.

He still goes on about the day I remembered he was allergic to nuts, and ran to him and shouted the place down with a typical movie scene like "Noooooooo" when he was going to take a bite out of my carrot cake.
