De Ja Vu - The Asian Place - Desi Forum

It's baffled me how everyday we do the same thing like put bread in a toaster, open a fridge, play games or watch TV simple things but yet everyday it's so different ie mood, position of body, climate, enviroment etc.

Not once i had a De Ja Vu. Anyone has?

Still baffled i do many things which repeat yesterday but everyday is an inch difference

oohh yeahh haha u make a very very good point.....but i dont think when people say deja vu they mean everyday repetitive things like opening a fridge for e.g.... i think what they mean by that is when we do something we rarely do or something we do once in a week or month, and you see the same people etc

That said even God likes repitition (in good).... You don't have deja vu about things that you do continuously, if you were to stop doing things like to "put bread in a toaster, open a fridge, play games or watch TV simple things" for a few years and did then began it again, I'm sure you'll have a deja vu, that it's something you used to do once before......

It's a bit like watching yourself age in the mirror, if you look at yourself everyday, you don't notice yourself change, but between large gaps in time, sure you can see that change... Yaaaaaaa meannnn.

agree with genius......i like the mirror bit haha imagine us all stopped lookin in a mirror for 1 whole year hahaha people will not be able to live without one..INCLUDING GUYS! not just the ladies! haha

was somthing u see on tv....get repeated on ur realife...

I always have deja vus.
The feeling of already having lived that moment once.
Or, more literally, Already Seen.

I had one today, the same one that I've been through about four times.
Maybe I dream about it?
I'm not sure, but everytime, I've thought "I've seen this, and I'm saying exactly the same thing about it being a déja vu again".
Strange.

I do too. But not as bad as 4 times. I just get that feeling and it gets me thinking really hard about when this happened but it seems impossible. Very weird.

I get Deja Vus quite often..
When being in a particular situation sometimes an example would be the words flowing out my mouth feel like they've have been stolen from another moment..
I like EG's mirror example.
