a mate of mine owns a very successful business and is struggling to fill one of the positions...

i know he was tellin me as he wanted me to offer my services if not short term to just help him out...

now he's a good mate etc but my worry is the old syndrome of mixing money and friends together.

i know of a few friendships that have ended because they thought it was going to be great going in business together and ended up hating each other.

should i just go for it but tell him that its only a short term thing and that i'll only do a few days a week etc...

But your technically not going into business with each other, he just wants you to fill a position for a short while. I don't know, way up the pros and cons..and if your gut instinct still tells you, you shouldn't and your not comfortable, then don't.

and yes weigh..as in conclude on good things that might happen and bad things that might happen and decide if you want to fill in based on those facts...
