What is the worst lie you have told the opposite sex?

What was your reason/motivation behind doing so.

For example, would you tell someone something untruthful and out of line, just so it wouldn't ruin the mood.

When I said I had no issues whatsoever with what he was doing.

Is witholding information the same as lying?
'Cause there's a lot of things I haven't said, just because I can't find a way to say things in an eloquent way.

Other than that, I don't tell big lies.
Lies like "Oh, I'm getting married next week" aren't hurtful lies.

and.. little things, white lie's are acceptable in my book.
If I have to tell a little lie to keep a situation under control, I will. Nothing huge, I mean things like, ''I like the top you bought me'' (when really, It's been flung to the back of your cupboard.) or, ''your sister is so sweet'' (when really, she's a dog)

I've not told my other half any big, really bad lies.
But random guys of the opposite sex, 'I'm engaged' or 'I'm married'.

I lied to this one guy that I was single, since I don't openly tell asian boys about my personal life, so.. It felt like the right thing to do but It kinda back fired because he became obsessive/stalker-ish. And upon finding out I had a boyfriend, threatened to kidnap me! Lol, ...yeah, its laughable now. But then it was scary.. started doing weird things like standing outside my house and shit, and sending weird letters so uhh.. I guess that was a 'big' lie? Dunno. Well, not a big lie. Just one I could have avoided

Oh, I've experienced that.
A dude I was working with told me within the first week of knowing me that he wanted to go out with me, and loved me.
I said, I'm not sure yet, let's take some time to get to know each other.... When, really, I was disgusted at the sight of him.

Took me a while to get rid of him.
Then he started hounding my sister.
Then my best friend.

well the only one i can think of at the moment was wen someone broke wind n i told my mate at the time dat it wasnt me and it was the girl behind coz he complained bout the smell n was like swearin about it. said dat wud put any guy off! i liked him as well!
