what do you mean they dont deserve to qualify. the two teams out of the group with the most points deserve to qualify regardless of who they are, and at the moment England are in the top 2.
it wont be 1-1. 2-0 or 2-1 to england. England are at home, they havent conceded a goal at home in the qualifiers yet and alot of these euopean teams like Russia n Croatia are gr8 at home, but are very average away.

Personally, don't think England deserve to qualify. Like someone said, if it wasn't for certain other teams results, we wouldn't be so close to qualification. Soo.. That's not really a valid point.

barry had been very very good in his previous 3 games so thats why hargreaves didn't play, bridge usually plays well, I don't have a clue why everyone played so crap, was it the pitch?? the defence was always going to get pooed on, campbell is past it [was once an awesome defender], lescott is not international calibre, richards is still naive, bridge worst player on the day, I have no idea what happened to him
wright phillips played decent, he was a threat and had the best chance in the first half

i dont think you can blame mclaren at all.
the players are all international standard players (minus a gk),
so why should they not do the job?
he had 4 of his top players out, of course he has to makeshift.
altho i dont agree with it, like s.gerrard saying - it cant be 4-5-1 or 4-3-3.
i played 4-5-1 alot of the times, its a great formation, if you have support.
phillips was your best player in my eyes, he was running at defenders, making things happen.

It was so funny last night at home. My younger bro went with my sister to Wembley to watch the match. I was waiting for them to come home. They finally got home round half 11, and I'm waiting there in front of the main door with my Croatia shirt on :D
As soon as my brother see's me he starts crying. But the thing is when he went into his room I could hear him saying "Noooooo" cos I had stuck up print outs of the goals and flags of Croatia in his room.
