hmm...actually, i think it's forgivable to do it before the embryo has started to develop... you can have a medical abortion up to 9 weeks...after that you have to get the suction! People do make careless mistakes, and if the person feels that they can't give the child a good life, or handle the responsibility then perhaps the best thing to do would be not to have it at all.

its interesting how opion varies from generation to generation in the asian community and the cover up. for those who are totally against it, you should try talking to elder generations of our community who are willing to talk openly about the 'back alley' abortions and terminations of new born babies. btw if u have a weak stomach, dont ask.

aww... what about women that have been raped and they get pregnant ??
i think that if the mother isnt able to cope with a child they should have to have an abortion..... it would cut down child abuse. i think terminating a pregnancy is more ethical than allowing that child to be abused for 18 years
