Last time I played a really good racing game was GRID!
Apparently this is really good, so ima swipe it from Game.
Love it. It's great. Some challenges are ridiculously and frustratingly hard. It might be a 5 minute race and on the laaast bend you hit a car and thats it a Gold medal becomes Bronze. Some of the cars are not very responsive, others are too responsive, loading times are long, you unlock a lot of cars which you arn't allowed to use in most races. The friend's laptime challenging Autolog thing is good... Note that they sell you the game at around £25 because they charge you a lot for download content for say a Bugatti Veyron and a whole Super Sport Series which you can't play. I really think that's the biggest dick move that had I known before spending £28 on it, I would have avoided it. If I pay money for the game, I bought the whole fucking thing - this isn't Call of Duty motherfuckers. They should make you pay for ONLINE content and not standard offline gameplay - that's just fucking robbery.

This is going for £12.99 on Amazon and £14.99 on PLAY.
I would've got it already, but I'm waiting for a cheaper steam version (it's currently £29.99 on steam).
I've played grid, I might get back into it because it was quite a realistic driving experience, one of the best on PC. Currently, only racing game I'm playing is Burnout Paradise. Not so much racing simulation but a story mode.
I'm kinda liking the look of F1 2010, but why the fook would you bring that out at the end of 2011, just devalues it to me, probably something psychological LOL.
Just waiting to get my controller, then I'll be fine. Racing games with keyboard is uber waste.
Just gotta be a pro with using keyboard+mouse for racing games. Noob. lol
EG you gotta buy/download content such as a Bugatti Veyron? Thats silly. I agree they kind of restricted the gameplay a lot when it comes to variety of tracks/cars to choose from.
Yeah as far as I'm aware. They give you the roadster version with no hard-top roof... But you know that new one they made with the all carbon fibre body? The one they used on Top Gear to break the WR? That one is in the DL pack, plus a whole Super Sport Series which is a good 14 or 15 tracks... It costs about £6 LOL... FUCK. THAT.
