Henna tattoo product ?left mum in agony for a month?

A mum says she was left in agony and burned by a body art product.

Dilara Begum claims her arm was so badly burned that she could not wash herself for a month, leaving her three children to cook for her and fend for themselves.

The 31-year-old from Oldham is now suing the shop in London where she bought Arzoo Henna, a plant material used to stain the skin, in March.
Wouldn't you rather sue the producer of the henna product? :/

I know exactly what she went through. The same thing happened to me when I got mine done in Egypt.

My left arm is now permanently scarred in the shape of the tattoo that I got down my left arm.

Its basically scarred the skin how it would after you been burnt.

Initially it starts as a rash and looks like chicken pox, then it swells up and then scars the skin like its been burnt.

This is my arm when i got the tattoo done

and about a week or so after i got back from Egypt

Yikes thats must've been painful... I feel bad now

Did it not sting straight away? Cuz if it did wouldn't you have taken it of straight away?

Zeros right it does look kinda cool but was it worth the pain?

My sister in law is still suffering with her skin problem from henna and she got married in 2005!

she had a sleeve of henna for her wedding day, bit by bit it starts to fade like henna does but she got a rash and her skin iched and swelled, and now her arms are a totally different colour to her skin, its realllly black, but fading slowly.

she went hospital here and they gave a cream to her to make the dark patch fade but they said it may take years to get back to its orginal.

allergic reaction im guessing, most henna contains eucalyptus,

It didn't sting when I was getting it done. in fact it didn't sting at all for the period I had it. Only started to hurt when it started to get irritated.

Yeah Pretzel you're right. My doctor told me that its gonna be permanently scarred, but if I'm lucky then maybe about 4 or 5 years down the line it will start to fade away.

Its not eucalyptus that it contains, its PPD. Its a black dye that they usually put in clothes to give it that dark colour.
