    Default AP's Ramadan Dairy!

last year was my first time I properly commited to Ramadan.

My bodybuilding lifestyle had completely taken over before that.

A year later I am back on track. Kept all the fasts so far.

From 7-8 meals a day to 3 decent sized meals with an odd protein shake.

I still feel strong. I haven't lost much weight, give and take a pound or two. the main thing I miss during the day is liquids! I could kill for a cup of tea, and I dont even drink tea LOL.

So guys please share your experiences...

What time do you get up? and what time do you eat by? What do you eat? what do you miss the most?

    another fast about to begin.

On the timetable I have it says Fast starts at 3:04am . Now does that mean I have to stop eating at that time? Or could I continue to keep eating up until Fajar time, which is stated at 3:45am on this timetable.

    ^Means stop eating at 3.04.

My body isn't taking too kindly to not being fed and watered every 20 minutes. It is paying me back big time with headaches and nausea. It doesn't help that these ailments make the motherling think I'm pregnant.

I miss food, any food, food I'd never eat. I licked my lips at fish heads yesterday. Woe is me.

But anyhoo, you're supposed to be in a spirital state of mind and thinking about poor people etc.. it all becomes a bit redundant when you know you're going to eat in X number of hours, but others don't know if they'll eat again.

Regardless, I'm one cranky *$#*@*# when I don't have a full stomach, bad times...

To be honest I'm confused with the 'fast start time' and 'fajar' . Because I have another timetable from another mosque and that states the fast time is the same time as Fajar.

I verified this with a friend and he said you need to eat by Fajar time. So maybe this is a grey area?

tbh I am just curious and want to know for my knowledge. Right now I have about 6 hours to eat.

M4ni what the hell do you do at 4am? are you a milkman or something? lol. You sleep for 7.5 hours which is not even continuoes! crazy guy lol

This time of year is just so special. Has a different type of feeling around it.

I usually eat at 2am and then go bed hour later.

I've finished eating. Another fast to begin inshallah!

This Ramadan I am free most of the time, so I intend to do more reading on:
    1) Islam
    2) need another subject area.

I'm sure that little "belly" is just another abdominal muscle you've popped out to add to your 12-pac...
