ear block on planes!?

how do u stop ur ears from gettin blocked when the plane is taking off or landing!!?

chew chewing gum or hold ur breath in your mouth and squeeze ur nose shut it will let the air out of ur ears and stop ur ears popping.

I do a combination of both the techniques I stated, always seems to work when there's a lot going on in your mouth (i.e. chewing, breathing in etc)

ok i know the soloution before your flight dont have a bath or a shower for a month atleast, let all that ear wax build up, the best thing about this is that you wont have to do anything at all,

In a mag i read how next man held 2 cupz ova his earz wen landin n even tho ppl luked at him n laffed it stopped his earz from blockin up az dey were trapped in air-tight space...i'ma try it...
