Eastenders really needs to hire some scriptwriters that actually live in East London. People in East London stopped calling the police 'The Old Bill' 10 years ago. We call them 'the Po-Po', 'Five-O' or 'Feds' now FFS

Also the asian guy Syed ? Wtf is that all about. You got a population of 2 million brown people in the UK and you gotta cast a guy that's 1/8th Asian as an Asian ?

I stopped watching Easties years ago, obviously catch it here and there but I've not followed the plot in ages - for the above reasons! It's so unrealistic! .....the only 'almost' convincing thing is the over exaggerated cockney accent on those chavy white girls

They created a version of that for a one off 12 episodes called e20 where one of the characters uses slang alot...

You need to remember they have to appeal to whole of the UK, agree its not like how e.london really is but they got to use normal english or rest of uk will be like wtf!
