Children chief?s anger over sex gang exploits

A Rochdale councillor responsible for the borough's children has pledged to speak to the Asian community to end the sexual exploitation of young girls.

The promise has come after police arrested nine men in Rochdale and Heywood who allegedly groomed girls as young as 13 for sex, together with a range of other sexual offences, as reported in Wednesday's Observer.
